I see you 'Northern Monkeys' are still at it. Well after a rest period of 4 years I decided that the itch had to be scratched again. Managed to find a Transalp XLV650, 2000 plate with 12900 (yes, no noughts missing) miles on the clock. Takes me back because I had one 20 years ago but I think we've both added a few more squeaks and rattles since those halcyon days. The 'new bike' needs a few things sorting but once upto spec we'll be raring to go. If you guys are heading down to the Peak District or Lincolnshire Wolds anytime, I would appreciate a shout assuming Hondas are allowed. It would be good to meet up again.

Just noticed that the plastics on a GS are made from re-cycled wheelie bins.

Including the paint, still only got the primer on.
