          If you use the bike all year round drill and screw. Water gets between the sticky pads freezes and pushes fender off trust me i am  on my second one ,first one got 2 winters second one will never fall of.

            Don't understand your post. The extender is fixed by screws and a serrated back plate that grips the OEM mudguard. I don't have any sticky pads. Never had any problems with mine over 5 years and 43K miles.
