RT LC Handlebar removal tool - UK?
    « on: 2021-08-12 17:55:09 »
HiI can't make my mind up if I even want handlebar risers (2015 RT LC) , so I've bought some from alibaba to see if I like them. If I do I'll probably buy wunderlich. Anyway the chinese ones are dirt cheap, but no removal tool, so I was wondering if anyone has one they would be prepared to loan to me? I'll meet all costs (obviously) and stump up a large deposit..ThanksNick

Looks like an appropriate length of tube with the correct ID and OD, plus a bolt will do the trick, https://youtu.be/8bpYtaX6vRA

Wunderlich use the same method, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IF7wmtNPx8

Ilium Works use a different more expensive method but you don't need to remove the switchgear and grips, https://youtu.be/Q9K0F3cAJ6Q

Found this thread, /index.php?topic=1135.msg16808#msg16808 a couple of guys just used some heat and knocked the bars out.

This guy doesn't recommend Wunderlich bar risers, nor disconnecting the electrics, https://youtu.be/DTT3Q8A-kWE
