Can the dealer set the indictoar self cancelling system to off or a long distance say 500m as a default.
I just can't get used to the bloody things swithing off too early.Even my examiner has commented on it.
I'd prefer to have manual control of the bloody things.
They won't stay on for the 3 chevron on a motorway off slip, but that is 300 yards. My solution, either indicate later or re affirm just before the 100 yards. The thing is with self cancelling, you really don't want them to stay on longer or you may forget to cancel, you shouldn't rely on them or it can give false indication if staying on too long. Never had an issue with IAM or RoSPA tests because I invariable cancel manually, so its only an issue on Motorway off slips and I do as described above. But to answer your specific question, don't know, because I have always worked around it. Find someone with a GS911 and see if it is an option.
