Re: Gear Shift Pro
I never use it from 1st to 2nd I find that i get a nice slick change from 1st to 2nd if i short shift. I'm loving the Gear assist pro though, and think its one of the stand-out features on the RT. Mind you, I had a test ride on the new S1000RR the other day, and the Gear assist pro is eve...

7000+ miles so far with the Crud catcher fitted. 2000 miles of that in France last year at 28c.
No problems at all so far with my RT's clutch.

Re: Pannier modification
Brilliant idea from SweRT for the pannier mod. I was thinking of using velcro but that would mean putting a piece on everything that I thought I might carry. A word with a good friend suggested these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Quality-Elastic-Storage-Magazine-inches/dp/B00DSON26Y/ref=pd_bxgy_auto_img...

I can recommend Dick Lovett Motorrad, Bristol.
Nothing but great quality service and friendly bike enthusiast staff.
They even do all the servicing and work on my Ducati too...

Re: New RT LC vs old RT- styling & finish
Love my RTLC, Ergo's. weather protection, comfort, performance, handling, suspension, equipment and gadgets......all much better than the Hexhead RT's
Build quality might be sightly inferior to previous RT's though, in every other aspect it simply excels.
.....Just my opinion like...

Re: Normandy `D' day Sites tour - for May 2015
Yes, there is a dedicated free bike park beyond the car park, so you can park close to the causeway and transport point.
I went on the Horse drawn carriage ride to the Mont, nice and slow, to take in the scenery.

I did a week in Normandy last last year, and also just scratched the surface. so me and my lady will be going back later this year hopefully. Also had a great day out at Mont St Michel, as there's some nice seafood restaurants for lunch. at Pegasus Bridge http://i209.photobucket.co...
