Wear a cap or hat when you take your helmet off.

Markus has purchased a 2022 1250 GS. As his motorcycle wasn't available to collect when arranged, he rode a 1300 GS for the day and couldn't wait to give it back.

Re: Dunlop RoadSmart 2

The RS2's have now done 7,500 miles. In the centre of the tyre, the front is still at 0.5 mm to the TWI and the rear is now down to 2.0 mm to the TWI. As the ride is still compliant, will continue to use them. At £225 for a pair plus fitting to loose wheels, I'll certainly get them again from Nation...

Re: 05 BMW RT 1200 ESA Not Functioning

Sport, comfort & normal are damping settings, I wouldn't expect to see the rear of the bike move.

However, when switching the preload between the three load settings, the rear end will raise up & lower down.

Re: Fuel Tank capacity and range...

Confirmed the above again, did 331 miles yesterday before the BC range was zero. After another mile, put 25.33 litres in to brim the tank. That's a physical check of 59.4 mpg, the BC showed 61.4 mpg.

He will be at Vertu BMW Motorrad Exeter on Friday (31st May) at 10am, probably leaving around 11am.

Is the ground/earth connection from the battery to the frame or engine. I've had read elsewhere that BMW may not use the the frame and the earth is connected to the engine.

Re: Map update

Have spoken to Garmin, they are not aware of map updates being discontinued for the Zumo 660.

However, with fewer devices using NT rather than NTU maps, updates if any, are likely to be less frequent in the future.

Looking back, I've only had one update per year for the last couple of years.
