Re: Check your insurance renewal quote
Carole Nash admin is very poor. Recently had a car insurance renewal and the transmission had changed from manual to auto. The estimated mileage and value changed without me requesting it to. After a phone call raising a complaint, CN agreed to increase the mileage and value without any further cost...

Re: Fuel pump leakage from third tube?
That fuel pump is for a Camhead, not a Hexhead. From the BMW Motorrad Genuine Parts link, it looks like this fuel pump assy., # 01, https://www.bike-parts-bmw.co.uk/bmw-motorcycle/R%201200/2003/R-1200-RT-05-0368_0388_/K26-03680388-/Fuel-Supply/Fuel-pump-and-fuel-level-sensor/4/16_0698/16/515590368 T...

Re: Fuel pump leakage from third tube?
Looking at the Haynes Manual #4598 for BMW R1200 Twins '04 to '06, there is a photo (2.15) on page 3.4. From what I can see, the two quick release connectors are the fuel delivery and return hoses. The "rubber hose attached to that green arrowed nipple shown above", is the fuel tank drain ...

Here is another thread, "Flat spot/Hesitation" , https://www.1200rt.com/viewtopic.php?t=3581&hilit=acceleration does this issue sound similar. Looks like it may have been water in the fuel and/or O2 sensors. (No conclusion posted on the O2 sensors). Perhaps fuel supply is the common is...

Re: Engine sputtering on acceleration at around 3000rpm
From this thread, "Flat spot under hard acceleration", viewtopic.php?p=74488&hilit=acceleration#p74488 the solution was to fit a new fuel pump/filter and clean the injectors.
