Re: RT Models since 1978

My first was a 1997. After going 8300 miles out west I wanted a sixth gear and cruise control. Sold that bike and got an LT because the wife liked the ride of the LT. Took the LT to Alaska, great ride but the bike was way top heavy. Sold the LT and bought a 2010 RT. Was very happy till I heard about...

Re: Pairing

After much trial and error I have the Cardo Team Set Pro paired with the Nav V. The audio system will recognize the headset but will not connect. So now I have the thing paired and I guess that we will not be listening to the radio. Its not really a big thing because Ive never listened to the radio ...

Pairing

I suspect that this topic has been asked before but I cant find it so Ill ask again. All I want to do is listen to the radio, hear the GPS instructions and talk to Ann when she is riding with me. I cant get my Cardo Pro2 to pair with the Nav V. Do I have to buy the expensive BMW system or is there a...

Re: Ideal tankbag R1200RT LC?

My Wolfman Ranier bag came today and I have mounted it on the bike. Not sure is this is going to work sending the picture as this is my first time trying to post one. Its not as sleek as my Touratech that was on the2012 but this holds more and so far Im pretty pleased. Im not wild about the straps b...

Re: Ideal tankbag R1200RT LC?

Well, I cant find a bag to look at anywhere around here so I ordered the Wolfman Ranier bag from Revzilla. Ill post some pictures when I get it mounted after it comes in. Not sure how to post pictures but Im sure I can learn. The Ranier bag has toughen space and is expandable if necessary. I dont ex...

Re: First Two Up Ride couple problems.

Never rode the Exclusive but we did have a GTL. Ann likes the 2014 RT as well or better than the ride of the GTL. She said the windshield provides her as much protection as the VStream that we have had on the last couple bikes. We will do a couple weekend trips before we decide to keep the standard ...

First Two Up Ride couple problems.

Nice day here in Denver NC, 50 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Ann and I headed out to Asheville to get some miles on the bike and to have lunch. Its about 95 miles from home to the dealership. Bike did fine, its remarkably smooth and very quick. On the way as we got to Black Mountain the Nav V ...

Re: Ideal tankbag R1200RT LC?

The BMW bag is very nice but also very expensive. Ive looked around a bunch and Ive about decided on a Wolfman bag. I like the way it fits on the bike and Im very partial to the map pocket. Ann and I went to Asheville NC today and I missed not having the tankbag. We had plenty of room in the topcase...

Re: How Many Use A Camera When Riding

I simply noticed that you are from France and was expressing my thoughts about your safety and security. It was not meant as a political statement or anything but a comment about my thoughts as I was reading the forum as I was watching CNN. Sorry if I offended anyone. I thought it was just a kindnes...

Re: The real difference between 14 and 15 model?

There has been a great deal of whining about the keyless ignition here in the states. I am told they only provide one key and that extras are very expensive. I chose the 2014 not just because of the ignition but because I got a great deal on my trade in and cost of the new bike. My 2014 was not a re...
