Re: Essential Kit List

That is some list, but the reality is if we all made a list of what we think we would need in the worst scenario we hope webwould be carrying the answer. I didn't notice any water though or an energy drink or Mars bar, etc. it's a really good list which I will be following now as a starting point, t...

Re: What have you got planned for 2015?

Got a couple of weeks lined up for next year. First up,  take in Mull & Skye, then up the west coast and along the top and over to Orkney for a few days and then back down the east coast.  Later in the year, a week with the wife down through the Lake District, over to York to ...

Re: Euro Travel Document Pack

Let me understand this correctly that in the worse case scenario and the bike was stolen and assumining the documents are on the bike. Do you carry back up information on your phone? As all evidence of proof of the bikes existence is in the UK. It's crazy that we have to think of this type of situat...

Hi Trichef1 some really good advice! But unlike Levisp I prefer protection bars over cylinder head protection. It's all a matter of choice. Best of luck.

Re: Happy New Year....

A Happy New Year from sunny but freezing South west France. I have set up my kitchen with my treadmill, spinner, stepper machine and rower to burn off the last six months of contract work and get me fit for the bike when the time is right. Oh and to get rid of the Christmas Turkey, puds and booze lo...

Now that looks right up my street, mid way between camping and a pension (b&b). This will definitely go into the book of stop overs.
