Re: RT Owners National (UK) Meet 2017

There are several Premier Inns in and around Birmingham.

Does it have to be at the NEC?

Or for that matter does it have to be at a Premier Inn? Travelodge also have reasonably priced rooms for the night. Keeping options open would help.

I tried this .... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 538wt_1402

It didn't work!

Could not get it to fit mine and gave up in the end as it looked like it would never fit.

Re: Southern meet up/ride out?

Might take a run down towards Lewes after this as the have possibly the biggest firework display in the south, along with all the extras like bonfires etc.

Should be a good evening by all accounts but my attendance is weather dependent.

Re: Helibar risers

Do these risers reduce the numbness in my right hand I am so tempted to say ... "You need to stop doing what you're doing or you'll go blind as well."  :)) A cheaper option may be to try something like grip puppies first. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Grip-Puppy-Comfort-grips-Models/d...

Re: Southern meet up/ride out?

Either would be fine with me, and the 5th suits as well .....

I am in the middle of the A3 and M3 so either work well for me.

Sounds good to me.
About a 150 mile round trip from here but up for it.  :beee:

Just got to try and get a bit more enthusiasm from all for this or something else before winter sets in.

Re: Southern meet up/ride out?

I guess the next job is for everyone to suggest meeting points and the days preferred.

Also, do we want a ride out or just a meet up\beer\coffee?

I'm guessing that they supply the chair ... Or do you have to take your own to tie to? ;-)

Re: Just bought an Iconic .... Lots of questions coming

Had my most enjoyable ride yet today. It's strange but I changed back to my old biking clothes rather than the new stuff and everything felt so much better. Smoother gear changes were an added bonus today. Possibly down to being able to feel the gear lever, unlike the new boot which is still a bit ...

I am currently looking into the Ilium works risers for my bike.
