Re: Gearchange Assist

Use mine all the time, my '17 is far better than the previous '14 I  had. That one was very clunky from 3rd upwards & back. My '17 is a lot smoother from 2nd up & down. Typically only using clutch on moving off or stopping. However I've rode a couple of newer bikes while mine has be...

Glad that the pair of you are ok. These things happen, but the bike is easy to fix.

Re: Service reminder

The 'My Motorcycle' didn't work on my 2014 RT with Nav5. But did when I put it in my 17MY RT.
My 14 RT didn't have audio, my 17RT does. From what I've read from other sites & asking BMW 'My Motorcycle' only works on bikes with audio, eg radio.

Re: Nav V and Samsung

I have a Nokia 5, also on Android like your Samsung. It all worked perfectly with the Nav V  and RT and also with my car too (BMW X3) However, recently the OS of the phone was upgraded to Android 9 (Pie) from Oreo. Android Pie appears to have broken the Bluetooth stack and my phone does ex...

Re: Tool Storage on R1250RT

Hi Pete The panniers on my RT never come off other than cleaning,  top box only on when SHMBO is with me. My Slime compressor & puncture repair kit fit in the pannier indentations .You've always got somewhere to put your helmet & gloves when stopped. I've never found a problem when ...
