Re: EMERGENCY QUESTION
We were stuck on a 3 foot shoulder of the interstate with 18-wheelers flying by and dusk approaching. Didn't have any choice but to use the fix-a-flat and get off the highway. Wonder what the dealer will charge for the whole job (breaking down, cleaning, installing new tire)?

Re: Working on a active break-light for the top box
I might have been interested if I had not just wired in and led tail light / brake light. Not up to redoing all that.

Re: New knees this year!
Need one on the left, but Dr is trying to get me to age 60 first. He likes my chances of not having to get it redone if I get to 60 before surgery. Unfortunately, my brother is having to get his knee replacement redone in a couple of weeks. After seven and a half years, he had a sudden failure where...

Could be, because they have to keep turning and turning to keep from running off that tiny little island :-)

Denali air horn.
Just had one of these I stalled when the dealer installed driving lights and LED tail light/brake light. It is VERY loud. They installed an FZ1 fuzeblock for me, and I'm not sure if they wired it to that, or directly to the battery.

Re: EMERGENCY QUESTION
Got stranded 150 miles from home and nearest dealership. When BMW roadside assistance didn't materialize for 2-1/2 hours, I finally sent brother to nearest exit to get a can of fix-a-flat. Got me far enough to get off the interstate with darkness setting in. Tow truck finally arrived and brought me ...

Re: Enough is enough
I am impressed. 500 uninterrupted miles on OEM seats. I didn't say it didn't hurt. That's why I'd love to have my stock seat tweaked, but I'm spent out right now. When the weather gets better, though, I'm going to want to do some long rides, and somethings going to hav...

Re: Enough is enough
Everything I've put on is for comfort or safety. I'm sure it's different in the US than in the UK, since in a day I can ride the equivalent of coast-to-coast in UK without having to stop at an intersection. In the UK, you guys do things like put on narrower panniers so that you c...

I use the small model of this, and am very satisfied. Good size for me.

Re: bmw top case cheap
I had mine shipped from Germany to Alabama for total cost of $735. Cheapest quote in the States was about $1150, and my local dealer wanted over $1300.

Enough is enough
OK, the buying of farkles has to stop. Pretty soon I'll have more money in accessories than in the actual bike itself. I already had: Bar backs Engine protection bars Highway pegs Sportboards Brake pedal extender Gear shift extender Enlarged side stand foot Front fender extender Garmin Zumo VStream ...
