Re: The new 2016 RT

I would not buy a demo. I believe there is a reason manufactures have strict run in procedures, a demo bike will probably have been driven hard at the very time in its like that you don't want it to be. No garentee if you buy a used bike it will have been ridden considerately I know, but I would sug...

Re: Planning to be nice to me

I too purchased a used one with low miles on it.  Has everything except audio (if u can afford it I would add it as currently trying to retro fit a stereo.  I came from a ducati multistrada which was a fantastic machine but a bit expensive to run and I was always afraid of the bill...

Re: Nav V and Interphone F3MC

They have just released a firmware update for the F5mc so would have thought it would be available for the FC3mc as well.  Mine works really well now

Re: 2014 speaker install

Stereo install has begun with some custom mounts. These are just prototypes that I am going to get lasered out of stainless. Amp next to go in and Jensen JHD910 RADIO on order. Should have it complete in a few weeks. Amp going on the left where the blank stereo buttons are. Will only be a volume swi...

Re: New bike with out audio...Help..

I'm in the process of doing just that. Purchased a marine amp and speakers and plan to install next weekend. Not a plug and play job though you will need to decide where everything goes and probably manufacture some items like speaker mounts

Re: Bluetooth

Interphone have just updated their firmware to help with the Nav V issues. Indy tested in living room so far but can now stream music and phone calls seem a doddle. Not tried with passenger yet though or in anger on bike since upgrade

Navigator V, F5MC Compatability

If like me you have been struggling with incompatibility issues between the f5MC and the nav 5, the good news is Interphone have just released an update. Living room testing is positive. I can stream music from the Nav 5 and I appear to be able to make calls without issue. Early days but fingers cro...

Re: 2014 speaker install

OK. Almost everything in order. Gone for a Pyle 300 amp marine amplifier. Some 5 1/4" alpine coaxial speakers that I plan in making custom mounts for. Only thing I have not decided on yet is radio and antenna. Loads of space behind speaker mounts and also behind the rh cover (the oposit to the ...

Re: Charging bluetooth helmet kit

Why not buy a separate rechargeable power pack like a Power Monkey. Use that to charge the BT unit overnight and recharge the Power Monkey from the bike when riding during the day? Doesn't seem that complicated to me... notnot That is exactly what I do. Works s treat and added bonus that I can char...

Turn computer monitor on its side

Seriously though loads of video editing apps do this. Should be no issue

Re: 2014 speaker install

Always liked a challenge. Guy at work has a 2015 that he has fitted amp and speakers to (no radio, just a plug for iPod) plan on trying to get specs out if him and will share when I do but just wondered if anyone had gone the whole hog with the radio as well

2014 speaker install

Today I pick up a 2014 R1200RT LE, trading in. My 2012 Multistrada. She is fitted with everything except Audio and top box so these will be my first modifications. Has anyone fitted speakers to an LC? Do you know the size of the speakers and do they need to be waterproof? Also what Wattage will the ...
