Re: Tapping into brake light

Think if you go to skene designs web. And click on P3 light install for 2015 RT you will find the correct wires

Re: Stebel replacement horn

Re: MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 GT

Hey Moonie when you are 60yrs + you can ramble as much as you like, I know I do. I can't wait to finish with the Z8s not keen at all. I am a little undecided on what to replace them with but it looks like the same as you have, the point I was trying to make to you was 'choice' and making your own m...

Re: Still no locking system or gadget???

Even the secure locking feature on my k1600, will deter only the casual miscret, if some really wants it no amount of security will prevent its removel. My RT has been parked at some sketchy places and so far so good If your leaving bike unattended for any length of time, cover it, out of sight out ...

Solution was very simple, remove windshield, look straight down at locking button, drill a 1/16 hole in button about 1/8 inch out from GPS housing I then installed a stai...

Re: Aux lights / DRL's for an '05 RT

I didn't need aux lights for visibility, wanted them to make my bike more visible
Went with Skene Design PHOTON BLASTERS, simple install and alerts oncoming traffic very well. They are along with P3 lights on both mine and wifes bike

Re: WERKS Quiet Ride Windshield

New windshield on bike, only a 150 miles on it, does what it supposed to do, that is reduce wind buffet. Haven't tested it out in the rain yet

Re: In praise of the Akra can...

We enhanced the sound quality of the stock 1600 cans by punching out the above and below holes on each side, wondering if this cheap fix would work on the new RT?

Re: New 1200RT and member

Welcome to you.  I agree with you. This latest incarnation of the RT is by far the best so far. Many on here will tell you its not the quality finish of the earlier ones but don't believe them, its just built differently. The plastic parts on the new RT require a lot more care in removing ...

Re: 2015 Spark Plug Socket

Snap-on tools makes  a thin walled 5/8 part number S9720KA pricy $$
Fits perfect
Issue is socket needs to be thin walled or can bind in cylinder head
