For sale - GS911- Enthusiast Blu ***SOLD***

Hi, with the impending sale of my RT, I am selling my GS911. It is the Enthusiast Bluetooth model with a ten bike capacity. It has been used on 2 RT's therefore can be used on eight more! It is as new and still in its original box with the USB cable. I will throw in a sturdy old Dell Laptop (with a ...

Re: Garmin 390LM query

Thanks chaps, my zumo was a pita because of needing a storage card and updates were incredibly slow or failed. If Garmin haven't fixed the problem, I'll stick with maps and my iphone :-)

Garmin 390LM query

Hi, I've been looking at the Garmin 390LM to replace my old Zumo 550 but can anyone tell me if the 390LM fits the whole of Europe mapping on its internal drive (as opposed to using the data card like the zumo)?

Re: New knees this year!

Cheers for that T6, I'm having both done but I'm told they will be done separately so presumably I 'll be off the bike for 5-6 months all up. Bummer but can't be avoided. At the moment I'm struggling to ride for much more than an hour without considerable pain.

New knees this year!

Looks like I'm gonna have new knees fitted this year. Out of interest, have any members had this done or know of anyone? I'm interested in finding out how long I'm going to be off the bike. I know the docs will give me a view but 'real world' experience would be useful. Both knees with stainless/tit...

Anyone use Bluetooth earbuds?

Hi all, hope you're having a good Christmas/New Year. Has anyone used BLuetooth earbuds? I want to hook up with my iphone satnav app (stored in my pocket). Don't need phone calls or any of that stuff.

Re: Stripped threads on the screen mounting rails

I too have a stripped thread on my 2013 RT. I've only taken the screen off twice since purchasing.

Tyre pressures and handling

I usually run 38psi front and 42psi rear on my Pilot Road 4's. This afternoon I overinflated to 43/48 as indicated by the tps. As I was only making a quick journey I couldn't be bothered to change it (I know, I know...) but the effect on handling was staggering. The bike felt like it was hinged in t...

Re: re-fitting muffler

I use a bit of copper grease under the clamp. I also lube the exhaust valve actuator and pulley when it starts to squeak. One other thing is to make sure the clamp lines up correctly ( it has arrows) with the muffler otherwise the centre stand doesn't hit the rubber stop squarely and clangs!

Re: Flooding

I was just watching some news footage of the flooding and I'm glad I'm not there. I remember in the 'great storm' of '87, there were loads of Council people out clearing roads etc but my local Council no longer employs anyone practical. I rang up about some fallen trees a while back and was told the...
