Maybe you can answer a question,  does the 2021 R1200RT have XMradio built in or does all audio/radio rely on having phone connectivity?

yes, MP3, i use a program to convert all of my iTunes music to MP3 / 320k sample / Increase volume ...

Only downside is when you initially insert the USB thumb drive, it takes a few min to read the content ...

Yeah,  it was the XM model,  From everything i can see,  it was installed properly,  maybe something that is interfering...the antenna is pointing straight ahead and the antenna wire is exiting straight backwards, i am not sure if turning the antenna a few degrees...

Wonder if someone can help here?  I have a 2014 R1200RT... on the left ,  front side,  when I remove the fairing panel i can see an air intake above the radiator,  there is some sort of fastner that is missing from that spot that attaches the air intake to the bod...

My arrived yesterday,  although the package went to FL after arriving at JFK then alway back to New York where i live :) all is installed and works ok.....  i am noticing increased linking indicators for the XM Radio.... as the antenna had to be remounted not sure what is going on....
