Deep clean
I finally got round to giving the RT a good clean after her trip to Italy. Tried out the dirt devil cleaning foam which really did the trick. Any suggestion on removing some scuffs from the seat? Tired legs causing me to clip it with my boot a couple of times, cosmetic only.

Re: Helmet / Comm question
I purchased the Sena S10 BT system and used for my recent italian lakes tour, which included a number of very rainy days. The system was brilliant, never missed a beat, providibg clear comms at 85mph and long battery life. Even had good quality music via the iPhone. Comes with a great app which allo...

Re: First big tour
The Italian motorbike tour 2016 The bike was brilliant from start to finish. Motorways, A, B and narrow mountain passes and apart from the odd sloppy change from 1st to 2nd giving me a few false neutrals it took everything in its stride and never missed a beat. In all we covered 2,300 miles in 11 da...

Re: First big tour
Glad to hear you had a trouble-free journey South. What's your next destination en route to the Italian lakes? Went into Italy via the Simplon pass which was great and stayed overnight in Vebania. Today we hit the mountains going to Santa Maria Maggiore. The weather was really challenging, it has h...

Arrived in Arbois this afternoon. No issues getting fuel on main roads. Just one station out of town which was - super unleaded. No queues anywhere which was a relief.

Re: First big tour - French fuel crisis
Just my luck, the French go strike crazy as I'm due to depart (Friday). Anybody got contacts in France who know the actual situation on the ground. Is is really the case that the fuel stations are running dry all over the country? Plan B would be to by-pass France and get to Italy via Belgium, Austr...

Re: How do you feel about the sportier nature of your RT?
Will everybody stop banging on about how good the later LC bike is. It's giving my 06 RT a complex and tempting me ever closer to a test drivet ![Surprised :o](./images/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)
