Help with a minor (but irritating) windshield maintenance issue

I posted this in another area and didn't get a response.  I wonder if someone could have a look and perhaps provide some insight.  Thanks! Not quite the same topic but....regarding my electric screen ('09).  There's a very small little rubber bumper, on both sides, that pr...

Re: Mirror removal and electric screen

Not quite the same topic but....regarding my electric screen ('09).  There's a very small little rubber bumper, on both sides, that provides a soft place place for the screen to 'land' when it reaches the fully down position, so that it doesn't rattle.  One side was missing the sma...

Re: VARIATIONS ON THE METZELER Z8

I'm waiting for the HWM rear to arrive - could be another month.  While I'm waiting -not- patiently; any detailed updates on how those who have the 01's are finding their performance?

Re: VARIATIONS ON THE METZELER Z8

Appreciate the quick replies gents!  I called the service manager this a.m. and requested to cancel the regular '01' for the rear and wait for the HWM version to become avail.  (I'll ride my Bonny in the meantime).

Thanks again!

Re: VARIATIONS ON THE METZELER Z8

Question re M Roadtec 01's.  The HWM designation for the rear is on back order here in Ont. And the BMW dealer said I'd be alright with the non-HWM (heavy weight mc) rear and ordered the regular ones instead.  Just wondered if you guys who have them already went with the HWM issue....
