Re: How many RT LC owners actually have problems / issues?
2016 M/Y riders seat replaced due to not heating. I am told by the service manager that the seats only work when ambient temp is lower that 7.5 degrees C. Grips work irrespective of ambient temp but that with both on they might not get quite so hot as when on independently.

Re: Datatag registration on new bike
My RT supplied by Cannon was tagged and the email came through a few days after the bike. That's good to hear. I created a stink back in April when mine was new. They had not done it correctly because 'most people don't want want a visible sticker... so we throw it away'. They obviously listened to...

Re: Datatag registration on new bike
Think you'll find all new bikes from around 2014 are data tagged. Its an agreement between manufacturers. It may be an agreement by manufactures to join the data tag master scheme but its down to the dealers to implement it. Here lies the problem, there are conscientious dealers and then there are ...

Re: Datatag registration on new bike
You are not alone. my dealer failed to put the tamperproof sticker on only fitting the domed gel 'datatag' sticker on the tank in front of the filler. There should also be parts etched by the dealer with the unique ref #. This is the scheme organised by the MCIA and adopted by th...

Re: RT1200 Iconic insurance
Carol Gash wouldn't add my RT LE on my existing policy, as the bike is over 15 K! So, I guess they don't insure many BMWs. Went with Bennett's online for £115.60 comp.

Re: 2014- Switch of headlight and Auxiliary after switching on the ignition
Just tried this on a 2016 RtLE and it does not turn the lights off. Track day organisers say no front lights so the ability to switch off the lights would be useful, if you want to track day the bike. I am doing a track day soon, is there a software solution to turn off headlight and daytime riding ...

Re: Tyre pressures fully loaded
On a recent trip to the fatherland, two up with fully loaded 49ltr box and panniers I went with the standard 36 f 42 r. Bike is 2016 RT LC. Bike felt fine at low speed and at 120 mph cruising on the Autobahn. Tyre's are Metz Z8.

Last one as I don't want to clog up the forum. This one was taken when the CBX was about a year old with its original tyres. Its a scan from the photo so sorry about the quality.

Running restoration R80GS [attachimg=1] Just departed (too precious to ride) T20 [attachimg=2] Don't know what to do T20 I understand what you mean Tango, but if you ride the bike at 60% and defensively, no harm should come to it. The CBX is well over ten grands worth so that tends to focus the min...
