Re: Headlight Bulbs (H7/55W) - Prices

I replaced my headlamp bulb the other day, 2015 model.

I though that my 2011 bike was hard to do, it was a dawdle compared to this.

Doctor says that the skin on my fingers will eventually grow back!!

Re: Help

Cheers. I'll have a look.

My bike went in for some work and has come back minus the cover plate which no-one seems to know anything about.

I will be chasing it up with the dealer but in the meantime I'd like to know what it actually is. I cannot for the life of me remember what it looks like.

Help

Can anyone supply me with the part number for the Sat Nav cover on the 2015 RT please?  The part that sits over the gubbins when the SAT Nav has been removed.

Re: Spotlight Bulb

An update for those ignorant members, like myself. It is not possible to buy the LED part only as OSRAM no longer supply them. The only option is to purchase a new light and BMW will relieve you of an arm, a leg and both kidneys for this experience. Looks like the best option may be to try and sourc...

Spotlight Bulb

I have a 2015 model with auxiliary spotlights. One of the bulbs has gone and I'm struggling to find details of the replacement required.

Can anyone here advise me please before I have to dismantle the unit and check inside

Sad To Say Cheerio

Well, I've had my 2011 for about 3 years now and sad to say it's starting to show it's age with a number of issues that are starting to bug me.
With that in mind I decided it was time to get rid and try something new.
Here it is .

Re: Gear Issues

If you haven't replaced, or at least cleaned up, the gear lever linkage then I'd recommend that you do it.

What a difference!!

Re: Gear Issues

The bolt on part 1 in the above diagram has sheared according to my man.

A few bits to be ordered and then about an hours work to fix it.

Re: Gear Issues

Cleaned it up and it is possible to move through the gears, just.

However the gear level goes much lower than it should sp I'm suspecting some damage to the linkage.
