Re: Crashed on black ice

Sorry to hear about your problems regarding valuation. My bike was declared a Category D write-off in July after my (best) friend rear ended me in Belgium.  There is a separate thread on that subject which details damage and cost of parts etc. As regards a comparison to your situation my bi...

Re: Knocked off my pride and joy

Thanks for the kind thoughts. As far as my friend is concerned I think the biggest problem is not so much the loss of concentration, which after a long day in the saddle can happen to the best of us, but how he compounded that with target fixation on a deserted road. Re: Knocked off my pride and joy

If the dual carriageway had been busy then running through various scenarios most probably a fatal for me and if others had been involved in trying to avoid me and my bike it could have been carnage. I stayed in Lux...

I was leading on my Quartz Blue (fast colour) 2014 R1200RT LC and he was following some distance behind on my ex Honda Pan European ST1300. We were riding at about 60 mph and when my Nav5 advised...

Re: Liber-t (SANEF) Télépéage Scheme

I used the SANEF toll tag last year on a bike trip through France to Switzerland. I was riding solo with a friend who didn’t have a tag. It worked like a dream for me (had it in the pocket of my hi-viz jacket) and the barrier pinged up well before I reached it. If you go through the ...

Re: RT touring screen
