Re: 200 rear tire?

I repent from asking the question. Am I still going to Heaven?

Re: The Long haul: any 100-200k RT still running

City cops use them on my neck of the woods. When they put them up for auction they are trashed. I mean trashed.

The Long haul: any 100-200k RT still running

I was looking through the RT thread where people were listing problems

It seems like not many have high mileage.

Are there any folks here who ride cross country often and have over 100,000 miles on an RT
Then, I would like to hear if you had any problems.

Re: What can you tell me about the 2017 RT--good or bad

On my last '16RT the neutral-first klunk would literally shake the bike. I can't imagine that would not be a destructive pattern over the long life of the bike. I have always rolled to a stop and pop in neutral to rest my clutch gripology. But with these RT/s the best suggestion I heard coming to a ...

Re: What can you tell me about the 2017 RT--good or bad

I have travelled on RT cross country before so I am aware of those traits you pointed out. I guess I am more interested to know if there have been any improvements on the 2017 over the earlier wethead. Like, does the tranny still clunks? Any glitches with the electronic wheel, any changes on the int...

Re: WANT -

It seems to that with helmets its either ventilation or quiet; you cant have both

It sort like women: you either live with them or dont, but its nearly impossible to do both

If packing a woman is your thrill, then a K16 is best, or a GL, or a car...depending on how fat she is: a train, a ship, a large transport aircraft

Re: Much tears...

Coming from a GS I am finding the RT quite different to handle at slow speeds; due to the much higher centre of gravity I guess. I definitely need more practice - this being a good lesson to me of that. It was damp, and just before the bike went over there is a change in the concrete surface causin...

Re: Has anyone upgraded their horn?

Do you have a part number for it Wethead? Its right there Sulli BMW e39 525 530 Horn low tone - 420 Hz All you gotta do is ask for this in a BMW car-part dealership. But I must tell ya, a bunch of K16 dudes found the same horn on line for less than 70 bucks whi...
