I have a Scala Packtalk that I bind with my bike's Bluetooth.  I found that the audio quality from the bike's XM integrated XM receiver is not very good.  I wired my iphone to the aux jack, used the Sirus XM app on the iphone and the resulting audio is much better implying the bike...

I found setting to turn on the shift indicator but have not seen it.  What should I be looking for?


Not that I really need it, just curious.

Directions including hitting the source button but I will look again.  Does not find AM.  Looking for Lower foot peg recommendations.

I am the proud owner of a new R1200RT.  What a bike but you already know that.  The manual indicate the existence of an AM (long Wave) radio.  The source button does give me me an AM radio selection.  Am I doing something wrong or is thee no AM band. Also, I am in...

It was mentioned the the NAV 5 integrates to the bike's info bus and engine information may be available on the GPS screen.  I have not been able to locate this functionality and look for a clue as to where to look.

I did find the seat adjuster.  The Low setting was facing up and I am assuming that is in fact the low setting.  If so, I definetly need another seat and looking for alternatives to the BMW low seat.


I saw Corbin has seats but for only previous years, not 2016 models.

Got my new R1200RT today.  Love the windshield, the shift easy system, power cruise, power is good and the bike is much lighter and sportier than my 2014 Valkyrie.  I feel secure on this bike. I do have a ton of studying to do so I can listen the the radio, etc.  Have not ...

OK, good on the GPS.  Glad to hear it works with Basecamp as I have a Mac as well. 


There is a used 2012 model down the street for about $8,000 less than new.  Does anyone know if the RT has changed at all between 2012 and 2016?

About ready to pull the trigger on a new 2016 R1200RT.  I have a question about the GPS they want to sell me for $800.00.  Is it a Garmin?  I already have a Garmin 595LM.  Will this GPS work with the bike? Anything I should kow becire I pick the bike up? Thanks, B...
