Re: Looking for Info on 2013 R1200 RT
If you read further in the link I posted, you’ll see there’s a different section for ‘your vehicle’, which doesn’t have the same reasonable cause requirements.
I think the new V5 only shows number of keepers David. I don’t think it even shows the previous keeper details any more.

Re: Looking for Info on 2013 R1200 RT
They used to send actual scanned copies of the change of keeper documents, so you could see the addresses for yourself.
Previously, I’ve subsequently written to previous owners and received loads of information about my bikes from them.

Our Gee. Previously, I paid the DVLA a £5 fee and they confirm all previous owners, with copies of the previous change of keeper forms.
Is that not possible any more?

Re: BMW reliability
Thanks David. Good to know I’ve saved circa £1,000.
It’s in the bank, ready for when I need repairs - maybe I won’t and then I’m quids in.

Re: BMW reliability
David, How much have you spent on your warranty in the last 4 years? I'm not convinced it's worth it. As you know I don't have one, thankfully haven't needed one and our bikes are very similar (albeit yours has ACF in places I don't even know about!). My switches still work fine,...

Re: 2022 Sim's UK Annual meet
I have another friend (Sas Korour) who is booking to come along too. He rides a GS too.
He owns a garage and recovery business... Could be useful if Diesel Dave breaks down again :-)

Of if you mean the actual lens of the headlight, I think it's only available as a complete unit.

Re: Tax, Test & Insurance
Yes, I have the paid version, because I have too many vehicles for the free one. I think it was a one off payment of about £3.
I've been using it for years now. I also like the flow through link for a basic HPI check at £2.49, which then stores in your 'garage'.

Re: Tax, Test & Insurance
I've got the app 'Vehicle Smart'. It allows you to check all of these in one place.
You can easily load all of your vehicles onto it, and it gives reminders for when the MOT / Services / Insurance etc, etc are all due.

Just collected a 2nd hand one of these for £30. The lady purchased it as a pet dryer, but her dog didn't like it, so it's only been used once.

Nothing. I'm not convinced Black Friday 'Deals' are as good as they would like you to believe.
