charging people for test rides is outrageous. it's fine to charge a small amount to bring the insurance excess down (BMW dealers charge £15), but £100 is taking the p*ss generally my experience of any large motorcycle dealer is they are mostly fine when they are trying to sell you a brand new bike, ...

There do seem to be an awful lot of people that buy a GSA (or other large 'off-roady' bike) with all the boxes and accessories, to buy into the "lifestyle" of an "adventurer".

I've got a 2007 RT and it only moves when I do one or two European trips a year, so I can't justify spending £4,000+ in changing to a twin-cam or LC model, although it would be nice!

I have a 2007 RT and my fuel strip has been replaced three times since 2015.
