i would avoid any pre 2007 RTs as they have servo assist brakes

my 2007 model is a bit like that

if it's any help I have a 2007 R1200RT with ESA, it has Sport, Normal and Comfort modes. Plus modes for one rider/two/rider/luggage etc I have tried all the different modes, and they do work, as I feel the pre-load adjusting, but I don't notice any difference at all when riding. i think you have to ...

2007 R1200RT (non-servo ABS system) I am starting to get the red "brake failure" warning text appear on the dash, when riding. it goes away if i stop and restart the engine, but comes back after 10-20 mins of riding i've read a few forums about this and it could be.... - low battery voltag...

I have a 2007 RT (49k on clock) and I also have had the exclamation mark appear with no other warnings. It means the oil is low-ish, but not critically low (if it were you would get the OIL warning) Looking at other forums other people say it seems to vary when the exclamation mark appears. Mine app...
