Re: Dodging exhaust flap bullets!!

Agreed, the vintage ones are the best. My flap is still operational after 11 years and 43,000 miles. If it fails, it can be removed and a bobbin piece fitted. Doctor T wrote: Tue Feb 14, 2023 11:49 am You are going off topic here. This site is for only BMW RT models. If you need to know the details of other makes and models i would recommend going to the sites that deal with these.
The thread is titled "Our Other Bikes" how can it be off topic talking./writing about other bikes?..

Yes, iPhone here for both phones. I kept my Nav5 and have it mounted with a Ram mount too, it always works, and I can read what the street names are without a problem. I've also been trying to figure out how to mount a small "Grandfather Clock", but no luck yet. Steve I'm sure you'll be a...

Hi & welcome the forum :thumb: It's nice to see people accepting their defeat in the older ages of life and turning to the comfy slippers of life riding an RT :-D

Re: Puncture

Having only experienced rear tyre punctures myself, has anyone had a front tyre puncture. When repairing punctured F or R tyres out on the roadside, was this done in situ or was the wheel/tyre removed to effect the repair. Got this one a couple of years back in the Pyrenees, hit a rock in the road ...
