Weird, huh.  It’s a great idea and makes sense to transition but I’ve also read that the 18 did not do it either, strange. Wonder why?

2017 RT Headlight Low Beam Bulb Replacement.

So my low beam went out on the weekend past. Started the whole Google, YouTube DIY process. Said let me call the dealership to see what they say as I have big hands and little patience. Called the dealership on Monday Oakville Motorad in Oakville, Canada. They said bring it in and let’s have a look,...

Re: Media Player - Nav VI

This was initially a big deal for me on my 2017 RT.  You should be able to Fast Forward, Rewind, view play lists, on the media screen.  You'll need to make sure your phone is Bluetooth to your GPS unit then headset is Bluetooth to the GPS unit.  I never used to use this fu...

Works on the 17 1200.  Unit must be in cradle and bike powered on, I believe, used it yesterday no issues.  See if there's an upgrade for your Garmin unit.

Re: Headset audio, phone, GPS - please confirm I have this straight?

It’s a PIA for sure to figure out, way more hassle than it should be in this day and age.  For me, I go: IPhone X to C4, phone, music, Waze police notification. Nav 6 to C4, for navigation instructions. I can stream music from the phone to the helmet while Nav instruction will send Nav dire...

Re: Flip up helmet and intercom

Schubert C4 along with Sena/Schubert built in, works quite well on my 15RT, ended up with the Sena handlebar remote, sound quality is 4.5 out of 5 This has been a total PIA solution for me and I’d not recommended. Lots of issues with shutdowns from visor flip downs or jarring loose from chin-up or ...

Re: Programming Key Fob, keyless ride

When I took my bike in for service last year, they damaged my key.  They provided a new one, said it MAY be programmed, never was.  It’s still in the packaging needing to be.  I can always take the two, bike and key to get them done, but can’t be bothered, original key wor...

Re: Shuberth C4 Reviews

Thanks, appreciate the feedback again.  If I can ask a clarifying question about what you mean by the sun visor.  Do you mean you have the actual helmet face open and it slams shut, or just the clear plastic face shield?  Is there a separate dark sun visor inside the helm...

Re: Shuberth C4 Reviews

Have had my C4 here in Ontario Canada since the beginning of the summer I've put about 3,000 KMS with it. Great helmet, easy pair with my 17 RT.  Never had to re-pair with BT, I only connect to my iPhone and not the Bike's NAV prep which has my old Nuvo 660 attached.  I also have a...

Re: Nav VI Initial comments and concerns

Great write up.  I've got a 17 RT, with Audio/BT.  Just purchased a C4 and Comms.  I've got my old 660 connected for now and was humming and hawing about the Nav 6.  Was going to pull the trigger this week and now I'm back to wondering if I really need it. All my ...

Re: Helmet upgrade

I tried both the C4 and the C3Pro out last weekend, similar fit but the C4 suited my head shape a little better, still a 61 (XL) in both, the comms for the C4 just slots in and sounded great with music streaming from my iPhone, although I didn't get a chance to ride with it. Speaking to the dealer ...

Re: Helmet upgrade

That's some helmet !  And some price !! Even more than I paid for a system 6 with BMW communicator and battery pack !  ;D Agreed, 749 was the sticker price.  Cash price was 590 euros at Motorad TAF, still not cheap. You then need the S1 battery/pack communicator at either...

Re: Helmet upgrade

Thanks for the replies all.  I did not realize the C4 came prepped for the Sena kit, that's a compelling reason to take a look at the Sena.  If the sound quality is good, I could give up the wonder-wheel functionality.  My frustration with Scala Q3 has been both sound qua...
