OK thanks, it would seem pretty normal then, My battery is good, the alternator is charging, and the battery icon only shows for a second or two, so I am calling it fixed be I think what I said was a sluggish starter motor is just the fact I came from a Kawasaki ZX9r and twins seem to turn over slow...

Exide gel 12-19, same as was fitted when I bought it. I replaced it because of the low battery warning but as you know it didn't make any difference, I suspect the one sitting in the garage was OK but I didn't know how long it had been fitted so replaced it.
