Re: South West & South Wales Area

I've spoken to Markus and it's looking most unlikely that he'll have a new bike by Monday 6th May. If this is the case, I will not be riding down to Abergavenny on my own. How do those others who are attending feel about me starting another thread for a meet at Ilkeston on the same day. If it's a p...

Re: South West & South Wales Area

To give me an idea of the route we can take. What sort of mileage would you want to ride. I know some of you will be riding some miles to get to Abber on the day. So i don't want to make it to long or to short a ride. I know its also down to the weather on the day to. I could make up 2 routes, one ...

Re: What did you do today?

Its good (for the want of a better word ) that you came away with minor injuries, as has been said many times before the bike can be replaced.
Hope that you heal up over the next few days.

Re: Sargent seat

I had a similiar problem with the OEM high seat, sliding about when i was wearing textile trousers. Bought the triboseat universal seat pad, worked well but just looked a bit shite. Ended up buying the bike specific cover but unfortunately it doesn't fit the high seat particularly well but looks bet...

Mobile tyre service

https://www.trustedtyres.co.uk/ If you're in this chaps catchment area and need tyres I recommend Jon's company. Had a rear puncture and as both tyres were reaching the end of their useful life opted to replace the pair. Came today and did the work. Punctual , friendly and a good price. Plenty of po...

Re: South West & South Wales Area

Hello all, I was just thinking if there are any members who would like to meet up for a coffee and a ride out. There are some great roads around the Brecon area to ride. But if anyone else has a thought on where and when, post it on here. I was thinking of meeting up in mid May at Abber Bus Station...

Re: What did you do today?

Picked up a nail in the rear tyre this morning, noticed after a drop in the tyre monitors pressure on the dash. Got home and tried to plug it with a rats tail, no joy. As both tyres are nearing the end of their useful life have arranged a recommended mobile tyre fitter to replace both on friday. Off...
