Re: Safety on the road
Dash cams today show the ignorance of drivers but also the poor knowledge of emerging from a minor to major road. I can’t believe people still flash and take the risk of pulling out. People are glancing not looking...looking is 2 seconds, slight pause...but we are talking about d...

Re: 500+ mile days.
It’s not the miles or quantity..but quality of the ride and road. I hate motorway driving, and 500 miles a day, maybe 70% of that is motorway, would bore me. I prefer the day to be longer, enjoy the open roads, long sweeping, curvy roads, beautiful scenery, and stop now and then...get off ...

Re: 4 wheel drivers when filtering.
Unpopular comment I'm sure but car drivers are entitled to use the whole of the lane they're in or whichever part they like.. they are not obligated to move out of the way for anyone who isn't displaying blue lights. Its nice to come across folk who do move over but when a motorcyclist starts expec...

Re: Safety on the road
Might be easier to ask "Anyone NOT had issues with drivers" And it is not just bikes, up until recently I had a Lotus Elise and that was regularly not seen by normal car drivers, particularly those in 4x4s. I put that down to being a lot lower than normal cars. Sad all round Pete.&nbs...

Safety on the road
Why do vehicles not see us? I was riding home the other day, and this driver just pulls out in front of me, no apology or anything, so I ignore and carry on... muttering to myself ( nob sack ) as you do... Then later, passing parked cars I noticed someone in one, and I slowed just in case ...

Re: CanSmart or Relay
Your right Cas, the import duty and the dreaded does put you off buying from USA, but no doubt when they buy, we rip them off too. Sad all round.
But I really do appreciate all help. Helping this northern monkey it’s needed , trust me lol

Re: CanSmart or Relay
I use the HEX Ezcan, it was less expensive than the Denali version of the Hex product. Best to order direct from Ted Porter's Beemershop, if in the USA, he will provide excellent customer service if you have any issues. One of several benefits of using the EZcan vs a fuse block (and I also have a f...

Re: Council in Plymouth allow Motorbikes in Bus lanes
I too am bugged and confused by this. I ended up with a £30 fine for using a bus lane in Taunton under the (mistaken) understanding that this was allowed. So unless it signs a motorcycle, you are not allowed to use it. Sad really. I see no reason why councils don’t allow. If some see the ...

Council in Plymouth allow Motorbikes in Bus lanes
so why not every council?? Same as a thread I made on us using the hard shoulder in congested traffic, why can’t things be standard like speed limits.

Trip on computer
Hi all
I can’t find the trip to zero my trip before start of a journey. When I read manual, it says it does it automatically, zeroing at each stop. Doh
But I can’t see anywhere the trip.
