i understand How the CanSmart works. Would relays to add day running lights, brake lights or anything be acceptable??
If a relay is fitted, can’t I just splice into the relative wires??
Cheers

Fuel error
Hi all,
Is it only mine or do all RT models give odd fuel levels. Filled up. Said I had 277 miles to next fill up... rode 30 miles, read 295 miles then another 30 plus miles said 250.
Faulty fuel sensor or is this normal ??

I bought mine from Nippy Normans, also R&G racing and Sportouring.co.uk are all Denali UK distributors. Mine was for an LC, but I am pretty sure they can supply all models

Re: Rear PowerSocket
These sockets are totally unacceptable for a touring bike. BMW knows the kind of kit real all year round touring motorcyclist use and for the CanBus system to fold back power to these outlets is crazy. So,as others have said, rewire them with suitable gauge wire and fuse back to the battery. The ad...

Do they have a UK seller? Customs charge I would imagine with USA.

Why change something that isn’t broke and works I say. I was riding earlier today, and it certainly feels much better under braking. Clever German Twonks lol.
Thanks again all.

Re: Is my 2010 RT linked braking
Thanks very much. You guys are the best. I suppose I’m more clued up now on it. So basically I don’t really need to apply the rear foot brake at all as the computer will detect front brake application and servo applies pressure to rear, correct? Anything else different with these...
