I just bought a 2013 r1200rt se. It’s the outgoing model without water cooling. It has this GPS mount but no GPS unit. What would you recommend I do with it? Find a BMW gps to use with it. Can it be used with a different gps or iPhone. Should I remove it? I do want gps but using my iPhone for it ha...

Here is a thought for you people wanting a mechanical lift.I can't set this up as I have no power in my garage and can't get a supply to it. I have a 12V lift in my van,it lifts 350KG so plenty powerfully enough for most bikes.It would only take a small amount of modification to use as a lift. https...

I'd measure the link pipe and go from there.Will there really be a big difference in aftermarket pipes between my 1200 and your 1250.Just because it's not listed doesn't necessarily mean it's not gonna fit.
