Re: What did you do today?

Horrible 2.5hr mostly-motorway drive up there with a lovely few miles of twisty C roads near the end. Hideout is aptly named, it’s a repurposed block of stab...

Re: What did you do today?

Time to get the bike ready for a ride. Before I get out on it,I've got to buy all new gear due to me weight loss, that is going to be painful. I know what you mean… I lost 1.5st on my wife’s low cholesterol diet after her blood test came back super-high. I’d just bought a Klim Marrakesh suit and had...

Re: full beam. Why?

It was actually one of those rare warmish evenings with not much traffic, and really quite a pleasant ride out. That was based on the fact that I hit no dammed potholes, deer, or badgers, and it didn’t rain!

Very good bulbs though 👍

Me too, but I had the time and dry weather to go out on the bike one night, just to see how good the Cyclops were… highly impressed with them 👍

Re: full beam. Why?

I know this is an old thread but I recently took pics on a deserted main road of the low/high beam with my Cyclops LED converted lights plus a set of Clearwater Darla’s (with yellow lens fitted) that are set at 40% power on dipped and 100% on main beam. I’ll also add that I didn’t get flashed by any...

This is the one, damned pricey for what it is, but she no longer suffers the crippling pains in her chest and back each morning.

Re: New Mattress

Because my wife suffers from a slipping hiatus hernia we we recently advised to lift the head of the bed at least 5”. As a more workable alternative we bought a Putnam mattress tilter which is a large wedge of foam that sits under the mattress and does the same job, but doesn’t put any stress on the...

Re: Luggage

I want to try Artie without any luggage. It just took me 20 mins to remove all the luggage and the King Charles ears (crash bars). Having had it all on from new to me (apart from when it was on the work bench) the ass end looks small. I've not tried it without the luggage yet, so going to try it on...
