Re: Almost here…
Nope, mine’s different and can’t be mounted the wrong way around, but having it mounted in the new position opened the barrier far sooner… success!

Re: Almost here…
I took it off the screen,it looked bloody stupid. Now the same as you but on the other side and I made a safety line out of fishing wire,it's discreet and maybe might just prove useful. I crimped a small length of thin coated wire to an O ring terminal then cable tied it to a handy post inside the s...

Re: Touring in the EU, unusual signs
I lived there for a while and never saw it, but as they say “my dog never bites” is sometimes followed by “He’s never done that before!”

Re: Aftermarket sat-nav for UK RT1250
This is a frequent subject that regularly appears on the forum, so if you use the search button you’ll find lots of posts to read through and some may answer your questions. I bought a 2018 1200RT about 3 years ago and initially used a Garmin Nav5, but very quickly changed it for a Tomtom which I pe...

Re: Almost here…
Here's the link to the packing vid she did a few years ago. I think she might have found other better ways to do this now but from this you can see the rest of the stuff she's put up of our trips. She mainly puts them here for storage and not for followers but over the years she's started to share ...

I saw this on a Greek ferry a few years ago, it fell over when he put it on the side stand.

Re: Almost here…
100% agree 👍 Do you put your videos on You tube? If so a link pls! I remember on our first French tour in the 90’s I had the ZX10 with 2 humongous Krauser panniers, an equally sized topbox, and a triple-decker tank bag, all filled them to capacity. It must have weighted a bliddy ton and we used abou...

1987? In the days before we were issued leathers. It’s horrifying to consider we were wearing jodphurs, like something off Morcombe and Wise. The K100 was a lot quicker than the R80RT it replaced, but tended to weave at top end of 134mph. Petersfield Traffic_Original.jpeg 2012? As you may have guess...

Re: Almost here…
Not tried it yet, but we had one positioned on the windscreen of an MX5 that we took through France and Italy a few years back and that worked a treat. So having it on the front of an RT fairing should work too… we hope. I did wonder if it would be better placed where the Crit’air sticker is on the ...

I remember that… Performance Bikes rode it and in the article showed a pic of their test rider holding 2 sacks of potatoes, representing the weight they’d shaved off the TT bike.

Re: Rear mud guard extender
I took the extender off my 2018 to clean it up when I first got the bike, and remember it being a pain to re-attatch. I’ll have a look tomorrow.
