Re: Fuel Strip
I tried the quick fix method a couple of times but ended up replacing the fuel strip. So far so good on it. Not a cheap sort but if it works and stops me ending up stuck at the roadside again then it's woth it.

Mine takes 2 helmets with Interphone sitting on their bases no problem. One is an XL Valiant HS2 and the other is a S Caberg. Both flip front helmets. No carpets fitted.

Re: Wobbly feeling on my RT coming from a testride on a japanese bike
I regularly use other bikes than my own '09 RT as I'm a Blood Biker. Mainly FJR1300's or a newer 2018 Rt, even a few times on a 700 Deauville and find a big difference to start with. They all appear more precise and when I go back onto my own bike I can really feel the difference initially but it on...

Re: Fuel Strip
Just tried the piezo trick with my faulty fuel strip. It took a couple of days to register as it should but at least it's done it and apprears to be working right at present. Noticed that when i filled the tank again today it took a few minutes to register from 1/4 full to full, but it appears to be...

Re: Motorcycle Insurance "Legal Expenses Cover"
Motorcycle Law Scotland have started a series of Webinar programmes available on YouTube. During the first one, which I saw last nigh,t there was mention of the Legal cover addition. It is really worth a listen as it highlights it as a total waste of money. You are tied into losing about 25% of any ...

Re: no neutral
Had the same problem with my 2009 120RT. Lost neutral completely but the rest of the gears showed up ok on ths dash. I could still find neutral without it being indicsted on the dash thou and most of the time the dash said it was in second but actually wasn't and it was in neutral. I was going to ch...

Knowing Carole Nash, you can bet they will charge you £40 to alter your cover as well.

Re: What did you do today?
Decided to move the mount for my Zumo 660 today. It was mounted on the left handlebar with a RAM mount system but I found in normal sitting position, I couldn't see the left hand side of the speedo. Decided a while back to make a mount that goes on top of the dash and is held in place with the 2 scr...

Re: I'm new, please be gentle.
Plod have changed their unmarked cars lately i believe and I'm not aware of what they're running now. If I get the info I'll post back. To be honest once you are on the go enjoy the scenery and make sure you stop at the car park on top of the pass. If it's a good day, you can see over to Skye as wel...

Re: I'm new, please be gentle.
The pass is great on the bike and only ok in a car. Been over it a few times when I had the 1800 Goldwing but not ventured there on th 1200RT yet. Really good run out and back to Inverness just watch the long straights as the plod usually park an unmarked car there and catches quite a lot out.
