A friend has a 2015 water cooled RT and needs to replace his voltage regulator
Can someone let us know its location on the bike - is it under the seat, under the tank or somewhere else?

From what I can see, the only other bike that the panniers from a 2017 RT will fit is an R 1250 RT.

I have an RT complete with touring panniers which I use when my wife comes away with me, I am looking at getting a second bike which I will use when I go away on my own, can I put the RT panniers onto a 2017 BMW1000XR. I am not too concerned about the looks but are the fixings in the right place ...

With regards the suspension settings on the RT does the rider mode - one helmet, one helmet plus luggage etc only alter the preload or does it also adjust the damping and rebound.

Is it difficult to  strip the top box down ready for painting and how much does it cost to have a top box resprayed?
