Re: Keyless battery replacement

Thanks.  I watched the video.  Before doing so, I did manage to get the cover off, but it was far more difficult than presented in that video.  It took a sharp edged tool and considerable force.  At least I got it done. Heck.  Is there ANYTHING not on You...

Does anyone have a trick for getting the battery compartment open (keyless ride)? I think BMW used superglue on the dang thing...

Re: ### SW-Motech Tank Bag Video on 2020 R1250RT ###

This looks like a good brand.  I have two questions:  Is there an opening in the front to pass charging wires through?  And can you get full throw on the handlebars without interference?  Thanks

Re: Base Camp vs. Tourstart

The tip was to simply use the waypoint tool to pick the start and end points, select both, alt-click to choose "create a route".  Using the select tool, alter it by alt-clicking on the path,  choose "insert route point" from the menu and pick a drag the line to ...

Re: Base Camp vs. Tourstart

This is the same as most online route planners, MRA included. You build the route online, then either export to the Nav (GPS) or if using their mobile app you can download to the phone app. I took a look at MRA.  It seems to be designed more for commercial purposes like package delivery.&a...

Re: Base Camp vs. Tourstart

Sorry for the newbie mistake of not searching for this topic.  I'm unused to forums, so I'll take that to heart and end this with answers to questions/comments above: To gogs01; I was unclear on the process.  If you want to download a route to your GPS it must first be built online...

Base Camp vs. Tourstart

I've long struggled to master Base Camp with hours spent on Youtube videos and fiddling with the program to create routes to download to my Nav VI. Then I found that the U.S. based BMWMOA offers up Tourstart - accessed online and with a phone app. This is a breeze to use. I can very easily plan a ro...

Re: USB connections

Thanks for all the help folks.  Somehow with the suggestions I have been able to make everything work as advertised.  Reformatted the stick and everything works together, including receiving phone calls.  The only thing still bothersome is trying to get the volume adjusted...

Re: USB connections

Thanks for your reply.  It's raised a few questions for me.  First, it sounds like your Sena has more capability than my 10S in that it can perhaps make more connections.  Mine will not connect to my phone and also the bike - at least I don't think so.  So maybe I...

USB connections

Brand new here to the forum with a brand new '20 1250RT. All the technology on the bike is quite distracting at first (love the quick shifter,) but getting the bike/Nav VI and Sena 10S headset to all work together has been frustrating. Now I've got it set up but it's disappointing to have limited in...
