Re: Swingarm lower suspension protection
My solution was the same as the cable tied rubber only I cleaned up the area on the swing arm and attached it with Tiger Seal. A three week tour of Norway and six week tour of Europe this year and absolutely no sign of it coming off. I checked it when I changed the rear tyre after the last trip and ...

Re: Motorcycle workshop ramp
I have a Clarke ramp (CML3) and it has served me well, I only wish I had bought one sooner rather than waiting about 30 years before doing so!
Got mine here, good price and quick delivery. https://www.sitebox.ltd.uk/

Re: Exhaust flapper valve does not cycle at ignition ON.
I still have all the parts so when I get spare time I can easily do a few tests and see what's going on for sure When I was messing with mine I could have sworn the cables pull either way but can't be positive! I just thought sod it for £40 the servo buddy just removes the lot and its job done Inte...

Re: Exhaust flapper valve does not cycle at ignition ON.
Why not use the GS-911 to perform a service function on the valve and watch it to see if it all moves freely? Better still remove the cables and the controller and replace it with one of these https://www.healtech-electronics.com/products/ese I'm not sure if it's even necessary to fit a Healtech. A...

Re: Fuel prices
That's not snow, it's white chips. If you go to "street view" here and have a good look around, you can see Google caught them when they were just starting to put the new chips down to the left side of the Inn. Granted, it could be taken as snow in the photo. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/...

Re: Helmets - too good to be true....
I'd say this new website is a scam.
Website created 7th February 2022, owners details hiding behind a paid service on WHOIS.
No reviews as yet, prices ridiculously low, it's not somewhere I'd be buying from.

Re: Undo the auto lock for Gas Cap
Every day's a school day! I was under the impression that after you switched the ignition off that you only had a short time period when you could open the cap and then it locked. I just tried the same as another poster on here, I went out to my bike without the key and of course, the cap was locked...

Re: contamination inside LCD instrument cluster
I've had this on my previous K1600 it's condensation, the screens are supposed to be fully waterproof but some do let moisture in.
It will disappear in time but when washing your bike, keep any water well away from that area.
