The pegs look pretty high, and the more forward riding position…. I’ll be interested to see how the bars are adjustable though ?.

What’s the max carrying capacity on this 1300 ?, 1.4kg lighter wheels….. does that mean they are now made of light chocolate instead of dark

If it is I’ll settle for a 1250 thanks.
I thought the same Steve but be interesting to see one in the flesh, I don’t hate it as much as the mock ups but won’t be buying one anyway!.

Re: What did you do today?

Nice day, got a bloke in to decorate the hall/landing/stairs so I’m surplus to requirements… nothing else is shouting for my attention (my wife is out shopping) so it’s a good time to give the bike a major clean. I’ve come to the conclusion that the RT is a pig to clean, so many nooks, crannies and...

Re: What did you do today?

Busy, busy day. It's only 3 pm and I'm knackered. 8:30 Dentist. Took over an hour to drive 9 miles there, traffic, A27 blocked, and then the train barrier was down for 20 minutes. 9:15 drove to Kia in Chichester to order a new car. That will take just under 3 months, as I have to wait for my curren...

Re: 28 ltr Top Box

When I popped out this morning I noticed the weight difference with the smaller 28ltr top case, felt more nimble on the go. I was going to have the top lid sprayed white to match but I think it looks ok all black.

Re: What do you consider lugging the engine?

Was feeling down this morning so went around the block, I thought I’d take notice of the tacho and I’m using between 2k and 4k revs, I did have a wee scuttle on the way back and I’d forgotten how quick these RTs feel.

Re: What do you consider lugging the engine?

Before buying an RT I test rode a 1200 locally, I stalled it 3 times which was strange as I’ve ridden quite a few bikes since the age of 6yrs. Once underway it felt okay though, I felt the revs needed to be kept above 3k though to be smooth. I think there must of been an issue with that particular b...

Re: What did you do today?

Did you see my post about the cost of the cambelt on the 1.0 petrol engine. Its eye watering. The wife had a C-Max Mk1 and it was a great car apart from the 1.8 petrol engine that drank fuel. I enjoyed driving it and having the higher seats than a normal car and being of estate size it what i was a...

Re: What did you do today?

We’ve got an 18 plate 1.0L eco boost focus, bought just before lockdown. It’s ok but we’re looking to change it for something else soon that’s easier to get in and out of and maybe a bit more guts!. There’s zero engine braking on the little turbo engines. Had hybrid in mind but will probably just st...

Ah okay, I’m wondering if a led brake light could be installed on the 28L box ?, maybe even using a BMW plug for plug n play as in the 49L ?.
