Display for miles left ?
We popped out for an hour the other day and I couldn’t be bothered to buy fuel, I had 3 bars when I left which soon dropped to 2, I thought I’d have a look at the miles left display but toggling around the menus I couldn’t see it anywhere .
So can somebody jog my memory please !.
Thanks.

Re: Sargent seat
I used it for the first time this week on my Sargent seat and found it took some of the harshness out of the ride. The Sargent seat has less padding than the OEM seat. But the Sargent seat has a great shape to it. Agreed the Sargent is a better shape and it’s a lot firmer, I can go a little longer ...

Pressure washers ?….
Ok I’ve been here before I think but at the start of a supposedly bike season 🤣 I’ve washed the 1250rt for first time this year and I still absolutely hate doing it!!. Skint hands, 8 various brushes none of which I can reach the intricate bits with, bad back, cricked neck etc etc. so I’m thinking mi...

Re: Aftermarket levers
Looks as if the stock 1250 brake lever is closer to the bar than the Wunderlich

Re: Aftermarket levers
@Panman40 This measurement is on both brake and clutch at the closest point to the bars between position 1 and 6 It's pointless measuring at the ends of the lever due to them being adjustable and different length The main point is where you would grab the lever As you can see they are about the sam...

Re: Aftermarket levers
Cheers, one of the first reviews from nippy Norman’s mentioned that the brake lever doesn’t bring the reach closer to the bars as in the description though , this would be the only reason for me swapping out.

Aftermarket levers
I’m happy with the shape of the stock levers on my 1250 but ideally would like a reach distance on the clutch between position 1 and 2 and on the brake something closer to the bar than position 1.
Are there any “sensibly priced “ adjustable levers out there that would do the job ?.

Re: BMW R1200RT Cam alignment tools
I was just going to refresh my memory on using the cam chain tensioner tool but can’t seem to find the correct video which uses the oe bmw tool ?. From memory I think you slide on the sleeve, screw the tensioner in all the way until seated then insert the pinned knurled part and turn clockwise until...
