Thanks for all your replies and I've ordered a Cool Cover to see how it goes. I've got a 250mile RTE next weekend and then an Iron Butt 1000 a couple of weeks later. I'll report back later.
Worst case scenario and it could be the Airhawk over the Cool Cover!

Re: full beam. Why?
I used to ride with the Denali's with 'spot' lenses and whilst these are no doubt brighter and after dark lit up further ahead I found I got flashed at too often, hence why I put in the ribbed Fog/Dripped. When I've asked people who I have been following how noticeable they are during the day, (even...

Re: Pressure washers ?….
I've tried several of the technical snow foams and in all honesty I don't think they're any better than a pre rinse with a low powered battery jet wash to wash the worst of it off. Whenever I've tried them they don't just shift the black pad dust or grim stuck to the exhaust and I have have to end u...

Re: full beam. Why?
Any issue with yellow spots at the mot. I had the white lenses in when I had my MOT done last year so can't comment accurately, however I think it's one of the weird rules with motorcycle MOT's in that only the OEM lights are checked, whereas on cars all lights are checked. As long as the auxiliary...

My tuppence worth..... 'Yellows' at car driver sight line, flash in sync with indicators so no conflict, indicator on/ yellow off IMG_3845.jpeg That's a very similar set up to mine and although it's entirely unscientific, but when I changed from clear to Yellow filters on my Denali lights drivers d...

Don't forget you can also set the suspension manually, but only whilst the vehicle is stopped. On the move you can only change between Road & Dynamic, but stopped use the Wonder Wheel to scroll up and it gives you three more options. Min, Auto & Max. Put the bike in Min & Rain mode and i...

Re: Would you A B C or D
IF I was in looking at buying soon anyway I might be tempted by B or C, but as Mac001 hinted at, never forget the “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is” rule, so would tread very cautiously.

Re: Airhawk vs Cool Covers Seat Covers
I see them, £12.98 now but still one hell of a lot cheaper that the well know brand. How thick are they? What I mean is do raise the overall seating height or do they compress?

Airhawk vs Cool Covers Seat Covers
Hi All, I already have an Airhawk inflatable seat cushion which whilst it does it's job quite well, it's a pfaff to put on & get the pressure right and even when the right pressure it always feels just a bit to wiggly & you can feel it moving under your bum; so, I've been thinking about buyi...

Re: Glasses with flexible temples
I have a pair of straight arm glasses which my optician recommended. They don't work inside a helmet (Neotec II) very well. I find I constantly have to raise my visor and push them back up my nose a quarter of an inch. Annoying to say the least, really annoying in the rain. I also have pair of wrap ...
