I've got to agree that with panniers the bike looks complete, however whilst tox boxes are eminently useful, I think the OEM one looks ugly, particularly on it's own.

Re: Luggage
Don't forget you can also set the suspension manually, but only whilst the vehicle is stopped. On the move you can only change between Road & Dynamic, but stopped use the Wonder Wheel to scroll up and it gives you three more options. Min, Auto & Max. Put the bike in Min & Rain mode and i...

Re: Would you A B C or D
IF I was in looking at buying soon anyway I might be tempted by B or C, but as Mac001 hinted at, never forget the “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is” rule, so would tread very cautiously.

Re: Airhawk vs Cool Covers Seat Covers
I see them, £12.98 now but still one hell of a lot cheaper that the well know brand. How thick are they? What I mean is do raise the overall seating height or do they compress?

Airhawk vs Cool Covers Seat Covers
Hi All, I already have an Airhawk inflatable seat cushion which whilst it does it's job quite well, it's a pfaff to put on & get the pressure right and even when the right pressure it always feels just a bit to wiggly & you can feel it moving under your bum; so, I've been thinking about buyi...

Re: Glasses with flexible temples
I have a pair of straight arm glasses which my optician recommended. They don't work inside a helmet (Neotec II) very well. I find I constantly have to raise my visor and push them back up my nose a quarter of an inch. Annoying to say the least, really annoying in the rain. I also have pair of wrap ...

Probably a bit early yet, but there's a nice one for sale on the "BMW R1200RT and R1250RT UK and Ireland only" FB page.

Hi Glenn, Strongly suggest you watch the video below from White Dalton solicitors. Pay particular attention to the bits about not qualified legal advisers appointed by insurance companies and the bike hire scam.

Re: SOS button
I thought they were akin to what they used to call the 'look mum' hatch they had in submarines, but good to hear it actually worked. I hope you weren't injured and the bike's not too damaged.

Re: Goretex cleaning
Yes, washed my Richa Atlantic Jacket & Trousers after I lived in them for virtually 48hrs in plus 25C temperatures for a couple of days last summer. I used the standard Nikwax Technical Wash, then the reproof stuff I uses for my cycling & mountaineering kit. All worked fine. Apart from the o...

I've got my initials, year of birth and month, e.g. CS 61 DEC. To anyone else it looks a normal, but I know what it means, however is never going to be worth anything.

I think your RT is the same series as mine with dial clocks. Where do you find the run time?

Re: RoadLok
Got to admit I hadn't heard of that make before, but that's a neat solution, however at £210 (£220 for the bling version) it's a pricy bit of kit. That said, have you seen the price of a good disc lock nowadays that is both less convenient to carry and judging by review below, ain't as good either. ...
