I'd have to want it, nothing is cheap if you don't want it, and if the cost to change did not look favourable then I would stick with what I have as it's not even two years old yet

I tend to just leave it all on, the panniers are good leg protection in a crash, and the top box is just handy. With no crash bars in place it takes just a few minutes to take off all the luggage

I can't answer your question per say, but would point out the seat has two positions for high and low regardless of the actual seat, so check which one your currently on as this may solve your potential issue?

Mine looks like a couple of inches taller and a different shape at the sides, it does not look much when next to each other, but there is a big difference the way the air is directed over and around you, for the money I paid for it (new) it was a bargain, I'd buy another in the future.
