I also put Cyclops in my 1190 and loved them so much that I replaced all the bulbs in my '05 RT with Cyclops bulbs. It was the best accessory I did to the RT. The daylight brightness makes a huge difference compared to the old halogens and makes the old gal look like a modern bike.

Thanks David and sakm. The bike comes with the service manual, so I’m going to attempt as much of the service work as I can. The St Louis MO BMW dealer is a good one, and they just moved to right near my home. So I’ll get it in there and get the recall checked for sure.

I’ve had five previous BMWs. But this is my first RT. Bought a 2010 with 19,000 miles on it. Previous owner was very meticulous about maintenance, but did it all himself. I actually don’t pick it up until first wk of Jan (if the weather cooperates).
