BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum

I'm looking to put crash bars/engine guards on my RT. I've found one piece bars that look to be extensive to put on, and I've found the left/right side bars that simply just attach to the bike. My question would be for the left/right set. Will highway pegs fit on these very well? I ride my RT weeks ...

Thanks! I got it all lined out and took advice from here and from my buddy who is on his second BMW. I've ordered and scheduled from my local BMW dealership, but it will be nearly a month before I get them on. I have three "other" bikes, so I can wait a month! Can't wait to be on the thing.

Just bought my 2019 RT and I know it needs tires. It has 7400 on them and must be original, but they are cupped and flat in areas. My question is what will an average cost be to take it to a dealership and have two new one's put on? Looking at Michelin types.

Ken here...I've never ridden a BMW, but have been scoping the 2019 RT for some time. Found a private seller over the weekend in TN. Drove down with a friend, rode it, fell in love with it. Bought it and rode it back over 300 miles to home in 45 degree weather. It was well worth it!
