Re: What don't you like

Geared too tall, mainly 1st gear. Transmission clunks loudly going into first. Nav setup w/ phone leaves a lot to be desired. Better off with an alternative. XM radio had very poor reception prior to self install of another ant. Radio switches itself back ON after ignition cycle even if it was turne...

Just velcro a remote inside cubby hole lid. Easy.

Re: Cracked screen, should I panic?

Are there supposed to be grommets on the bolts? My (new) 2021 was assembled with no grommets on the w/shield bolts. They also used 2 right brackets rather than one left & one right. So it's not always used bikes w/ unknown issues.

Re: CarPlay screen

Sorry, another follow up… Before I start dismantling, can anyone tell me whether there is a ‘safe’ switched 12v circuit I can connect to, behind the satnav/clock/ righthand speaker area? Is it possible to determine which of the multi pin socket, intended for a Satnav, could be utilised? Sorry for t...

Re: Aux socket draining the battery?

So I guess it's back to the drawing board for me. I just want a USB cable concealed in the left "glove" box of the fairing that's on and off with the engine. Can't be that hard without resorting to HEX-Can and stuff like that that seams overkill to me? I just hate untidy cables so using a...

sakm wrote: Sun Oct 01, 2023 2:19 pm Have you checked everything?

Is it in neutral etc

Disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it should stop it starting.

Check your connections too
That would stop it starting?

Re: Aux socket draining the battery?

Yes, esp. if there was no problem before installing that. Connect a meter (to read amperage) to the battery. Wait a reasonable time for the bike to go to sleep & then read the meter for any parasitic drain. If one present, disconnect your adapter & chk. meter again. There may normally be a s...

Dunno why some even bother to post 'make offer' when they have no intention of coming down on the price.
