Re: Body Weight, Belly Size
Howdy. I went over bars in October, and ended up with a metal plate in broken right arm and then later diagnosed broken left wrist that got cast for another 2 months. That completely hampered my movement for couple of months, and the weight crept up. My riding shirt got too tight over the winter. I'...

Re: summer gloves
I am happy with Rev'It Mangrove. The cuff is not the shortest, but I like my wrists covered, as Ireland has only 2 weeks of summer per year. Rev'It Sand 4 H2O are my second pair, and thanks to getting RT with excellent wind protection, I didn't need my winter gloves so far. They are water-proof and ...

Re: New member from SE London/Kent
Drop me a line, I am tourist in Ireland for almost 18 years, and if you let me know what is your interest, I could send you couple of locations and roads that might be worth noting.

Re: Hello from Dublin (IE)
Phone mount with cordless charging arrived from far east within 2 weeks, so I am all fine there. I have under 300km on the bike and I love it. Well, apart from shifting gears, I must be missing something or I should rename my Blue Motor-Whale to a tractor  My Large cover didn't fit, so I've up...

Re: What don't you like
I have less than 300km on my 2015 bike, and I am bloody scared of shifting. I have nothing to compare, as it is my first BMW and first shaft-driven bike, but my little Honda didn't crunch gears that much. So the sound of the gearbox is one thing I don't like. Plus I park on a gravel, so pushing the ...

Re: Phone adapter for Nav6 prep
The adapter arrived from mainland China in less than 2 weeks, that is a bit surprise. Even when I opted not to pay for fast shipping.
I chose the cordless-charging model, to remove the need for cable.
Testing will start this weekend.

Glasses with flexible temples
Being of certain age (hence this bike and forum), I need glasses. And my current pair of glasses, although having titanium temples, start feeling uncomfortable after an hour or riding. There are flexible glasses promoted by Ryan F9, but they are in Canada. So shipping cost is significant and returns...

Hello from Dublin (IE)
Hello from Dublin I've just paid for 2015 RT loaded with so much stuff that I'll need a day or two to read the manual. I'll be collecting the bike this Friday, so pictures of my new B lue M otor- W hale will follow in coming days. The things left for me are: phone mount, pannier liners and learning ...

Re: Phone adapter for Nav6 prep
Is the adapter available also from EU vendors? I am only asking because of the shipping times.
