Thank you...they make it look so easy!
I managed it in the end getting my arm behind the panel and using a tea spoon to pry the velcro apart...after that the tabs came out easily.

Thanks for speedy reply. I'm getting so much resistance. I feel that the velcro might be the biggest cause.
