The TomTom 550 and Zumo 660 were mentioned there, I see there are a few of those cheap on eBay. Can the maps still be updated?

Can I use this gps mount?
I just bought a 2013 r1200rt se. It’s the outgoing model without water cooling. It has this GPS mount but no GPS unit. What would you recommend I do with it? Find a BMW gps to use with it. Can it be used with a different gps or iPhone. Should I remove it? I do want gps but using my iPhone for it has...

I just bought myself a 2013 R1200RT SE and I'm taking delivery next week.
For the last 20 years i've been riding a 1982 Honda CB900 Custom so it will be a big change. I'm going to have a lot of questions once i get it.
